A Saturday Night Gong Show for all the Right Reasons
Wow what a night! The night was supposed to be just the crew getting together at our friends Annie and Monnetta’s place to watch some hockey and giver a little bit. Maybe not a little bit since when we get er going it turns into an absolute gong show. So I’m chillin at my bud phril’s house and watching the first period of the Leafs hockey game and then we were going to make our way down to the party. We got a phone call to head down to the party ASAP because there was some news and it was supposedly the “craziest news we are gonna hear all year”, I knew what the news was but I played along with my buddy phril since he had no clue what was going on. So on my way to the party I rolled into the liquor store and picked up a twelve banger of Corona and a bottle of Goldschlager cause I knew we were gonna be getting into the shots. Oh man this is gonna be a long one.
We roll into the party and it is already madness (the time is 8:00) and the news was out that my best bud “the cobster” and his significant other Linda were havin a baby. The first one out of the crew to deliver such tremendous news and it was time to celebrate. The news was broken about twenty minutes before I had got there and people had already busted out the shots (JD and Goldschlager). So I roll into the party with another bottle of the goldschlager and we immediately head out to the patio and fire it up. For the next twenty minutes it is freakin nuts we had about 6 or 7 shots (and everyone at the party is outside givener on these things) and it was the fastest getting shit faced party I’ve ever been involved with. This continued for hours (although the shots would definitely slow down) and hours and it was one crazy night. The majority of the crew was there and all the girls were up in the hizzouse. I was pumped that a special someone was gonna be up in the hizzouse as well and the night was an absolute blast and a celebration to remember. Our crew is known to throw some serious bashes and this was one of the better ones.
There were a lot of fascinating episodes that would go on through the night, as there was a cell phone incident where the man of the night (the cobster) had his phone (The Razr) smashed on the ground as a joke and then he grabbed our buddy fooch’s phone (this kid’s an animal and the king of jibba jabba)and absolutely smashed the shit out of the phone. It was a hilarious sight and it was made all the better cause we were all gunned. Another fun episode was the rap battle between myself (the kid), the Cobster (the self proclaimed fastest rapper in Canada), FitzDawg (the real slim shady), and our boy JLee(the asian fury). When we get gunned and haul on some of that fun stuff all of a sudden we feel like we can rap and we bust out some sick rhymes (at least in the state we are in we like to think so). So this went on for a good 45 minutes of us just going back and forth and thinking we are coming up with the sickest of rhymes.
Well it was eventually time for this kid to shut er down for the night, although it was tough getting some sleep because the king of jibba jabba was in prime form and he was yippin till about 7:30 in the morning. Once he eventually wore himself out it was time for some shut eye to get ready for a rotting session in my buddies basement all day Sunday to watch some mad football. There was no online poker played on this day.
